Open to the public all the year round, the park of the Vizille territory offers a privileged setting to rest and to discover. 100 acres of greenness are stretching in front of the castle. Punctuated by a magnificent lake and its numerous canals, the territory offers many strolling possibilities. Originally conceived by its creator Lesdiguières as a pleasure garden, this superb park regained its entertaining function in the 20th century. It offers a privileged setting for relaxation and discovery, punctuated by a vast stretch of water and numerous canals, a forest lined with bridle paths and a wealth of plant species.
A rose garden makes up the formal garden.
A wildlife park is home to numerous species that roam freely around the estate: swans, geese, grey herons, deer, fallow deer and roe deer.
