This old oak, labeled a "Remarkable Tree of France, is being monitored and protected by a safeguarding project initiated and coordinated since January 2016 by the PURO FAIRTRADE COFFEE company. This is being done with the help of the owner, and in partnership with the ARBRES association, the commune of VENON and the Office National des Forêts.
ATTENTION: this tree is located on a private pasture! Please respect the area, the animals and, of course, the integrity of Venon's only living monument! DO NOT GRIMP into the tree, NO FIRE wood under the branches, the latter torn off or cut off, NO GRAVURES or damage to the bark !!! Unfortunately, these are frequent (...)
