The 4-hectare park was created in 1981 in memory of Lazare Hoche, division general and commander of the Moselle army, on the site of the former barracks. The perimeter of the park is reserved for sports activities such as soccer and basketball, as well as a children's playground. With a total of 300 different species of trees, there's no shortage of shade at the feet of acacias, lime trees, chestnuts and poplars. In the center of the park you can admire the white marble fountain by sculptor Jean-Pierre Filippi and the broken column fountain by Rémi James.
