Farm flavours: Nathalie and Dominique open the doors of their farm, Le Chemin des Saisons in Gresse-en-Vercors, to visitors. They sell a wide range of their produce: eggs, sheep-farming products and products from the garden. Favourites include 1,001 flavours of cordials (nettle, mint, lemon balm and meadowsweet to name a few), jams, herbal teas, aromatic plants, aromatic oils (chive, basil, coriander and more), bear garlic and chive pesto. In summer, vegetables from the garden are on sale every Saturday from 10am to 12pm. Nathalie also gives workshops about cooking with wild plants and flowers.
Other options: hire the donkeys Matchou and Pitchou for 30 minutes, an hour or even more. Go camping for a few days with Dominique who is also a mountain guide. Finally, visit the farm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings to discover mountain farm life. And if you'd like to stay on and live the life, the farm has two self-catering cottages.
