The priviledged exhibition place of Christian Charvet, the artist has managed to make of his gallery an open threshold towards the soul of his creation. Come and discover his shimmering universe amidst an intimist studio.
Christian Charvet began to paint in the years 1970.
Throughout the years, he has explored numerous subjects and forms (cubism, representational art, utopism...), which has carried him to the abstract canvas and to the square shape (1 x 1 metre ), which characterize his art nowadays.
It was during his "red time" (1990's) that he processed long researches around Arthur Rimbaud, and that he created the character in painting. Still today, we can find in his canvas the atmospheres and the warm colors of the remote lands, decribed by the poet.
