Stage 11: Chamrousse - Vizille GR®738

From Recoin to Chamrousse, join Roche Béranger then descend to Vizille via the Col de la Madeleine. Crossing the hamlets of Mont Sec and Montjean. Arrival in Vizille by the national road (100m), watch out for traffic.

Step:
This last stage is different and reveals its charm by its mainly forest descent. A splendid forest with multiple species. The views over the Matheysin plateau equal the more mountainous precedents. The hamlets of Mont Sec and Montjean are authentic and allow us to discover the tranquility of the people who live there. Sustained descent to Vizille where you arrive behind the castle and its estate. Vizille, cradle of the Revolution: take a break in history and you will learn all about the birth of the Revolution.
