This place enables the visitors to discover how certain wine-growers had reconverted themselves into nut-growing in order to make ends meet, as well as providing a remarkable economical energy to the region of Dauphiné, thus honoring the fame of the nut of Grenoble which remains associated with the fabulous history of the cabinetmaking of Grenoble and the great reputation of nut-tree wood.
WHY SUCH A NAME?
This restaurant is located at the foothills of the mountain called "Mont Rachais", where there used to be vineyards which would provide a white sparkling wine, which was called by the same name as the mountain.
THE RESTAURANT
The visitors will also be able to feed themselves and to discover the "matefaims surprises", a sort of pancakes, salted or sweet crêpes, as well as the Vercors' meat or the Chartreuse's trouts (according to the deliveries)
The menu changes every week, in order to offer and make known the best dishes of the region.
