Le Méliès cinema

A three-rooms art cinema structure, with a café and a bookshop within the de Bonne neighborhood. The Méliès develops several actions dedicated to the discovering of a picture sensibility, and to the promotion of auteur cinema, offering showings to young public in particular.

The story of the Méliès cinema follows the evolution of the cinemas throughout France, however focusing on that particular guideline , which is the education to the picture, carried on by the Education League. It has enabled it to stay in activity for more than 40 years, exposing several features.
