The Bastille, the old military fortress dating back from the 19th. A not-to-be-missed site of Grenoble.

You will visit an extremely well-preserved fortified complex, built between 1824 and 1848. The tour will allow you to understand how it worked and to discover several astonishing places in the fort, such as the casemated cavalier, the eastern casemates, the moat and the underground retreat. The visit to the fort also offers extraordinary views of the mountains and the city.
