The Chateau of Sassenage, built between 1662 and 1669 by the wealthy Béranger-Sassenage family, offers a magnificent example of 17th century French architecture. As such, it has managed to preserve the characteristic identity of each of its living areas. It also serves as an illustration of a certain art of living in the 17th and 18th centuries, both through its decorations and the diversity of its furnishings.


Entrée libre et gratuite pour le public individuel.
NB : en fonction des demandes liées à l'activité commerciale du domaine, le parc est susceptible d'être privatisé certains jours.
Les pique-niques sont interdits dans l'enceinte du parc.
L'accès au parc est interdit aux deux-roues et animaux domestiques.

Le château et le parc sont ouverts les jours fériés lorsque ceux-ci correspondent aux jours d'ouverture de la saison culturelle soit : les dimanches de mai à octobre ; du dimanche au jeudi en juillet/août.
