In Chamrousse, you will find 10km of footpaths, for the greatest delight of walkers. Take the forest track linking Chamrousse 1650, 1750 and the Arselle plateau and enjoy the silence and the view of the Grenoble valley.

At Plateau de l'Arselle, take the footpath and contemplate the Taillefer in all its splendor, in a setting worthy of the most beautiful landscapes.

At Chamrousse 1650 and 1750, pedestrian entrances provide safe access to shops and accommodation.

Dogs are welcome in Chamrousse, but please keep them on a leash and pick up after them.
Bag dispensers are available at :
- Chamrousse 1650: camper van area and public toilet wall.
- Chamrousse 1750: Chalets des Cimes entrance, Bachat-Bouloud 6-seater chairlift, kindergarten chalet (road side).
- Chamrousse 1700: start of the footpath to the Martinets building.

FAMILLE PLUS activity:
Stroll through the woods with the "Parcours du petit montagnard" treasure hunt, in summer and winter alike! Enjoy the peace and quiet as you follow the forest trail between the different areas of the resort (45-minute to 1.5-hour strolls), on foot or in a 4x4 stroller. A pedestrian loop also runs around the Plateau de l'Arselle, accessible by free shuttle bus in winter.

On presentation of a photo taken at the hiking site, brave little hikers will be awarded a named diploma + possible purchase of the bronze "lac des Vallons" star to hang proudly on the backpack (on sale for €3 at Tourist Offices).


Pets allowed: Dogs are allowed in the summer on all trails on a leash. The shepherd who works in Chamrousse in the summer has no Pyrenean Mountain Dog.

Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin stop:
- regular bus service all year round: N93 (to/from Grenoble), "Chamrousse 1650" stop [merger of former T87, Transaltitude, Destination neige Skibus / nature Estibus 707].

Good to know - another stop less than 500m away (Place de Belledonne, near the Tourist Office):
- bus line / shuttle service by reservation on weekdays excluding public holidays: Flexo 57 (to/from Uriage), "Chamrousse - Le Recoin" stop [former TAD TouGo - line G701].
- resort shuttle in winter and summer: "Télécabine (1650)" stop (to/from Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger and Chamrousse 1600 - Plateu de l'Arselle/Nordic area)
