In Chamrousse, you will find 10km of footpaths, for the greatest delight of walkers. Take the forest track linking Chamrousse 1650, 1750 and the Arselle plateau and enjoy the silence and the view of the Grenoble valley.

At the Arselle plateau, take the footpath and admire the splendour of the Taillefer mountain in a setting worthy of the most beautiful landscapes.

Our dog friends are welcome to Chamrousse, please keep them on a lead and clean up after them.
You will find dog waste bags dispensers in :
- Chamrousse 1650 : at the camper van area and on public toilets wall.
- Chamrousse 1750 : entrance of Chalets des cimes, Bachat-Bouloud 6-man chairlift, kindergarten chalet (road side).
- Chamrousse 1700 : departure of the footpath near the Martinets building.

Let’s take a walk in the bush with "Little mountain dweller track"! Enjoy the silence taking the forest track between the different parts of the resort (walks from 45 minutes to 1h30), on foot or on a pushchair 4x4. You can also walk on a loop around the Arselle plateau accessible via our free shuttle.

Pets allowed: Dogs are allowed in the summer on all trails on a leash. The shepherd who works in Chamrousse in the summer has no Pyrenean Mountain Dog.

Main bus stops in Chamrousse: Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin, Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger and Chamrousse 1600 - Arselle plateau.
Several public transport lines serve the resort:
- regular bus line (all year long - winter only on weekdays): T87 regional bus (to/from Grenoble)
- seasonal bus lines:
-> winter only: Transaltitude with Skiligne (to/from Grenoble) and Skibus 707 (to/from Grenoble and Uriage)
-> summer only: Estibus 707 (to/from Grenoble)
- transportation on demand (TAD) all year long : TouGo - line G701 (to/from Uriage)
