Belvedere Loop

1 - Departure from the village square. Church of the XIIth century : altarpiece in polychrome wood (XVIIth century), contemporary stained glasses of Arcabas

2 - Go downhill on the left for 50 m. At the Charmette, turn left towards Montjalat.

3 - Go through the hamlet of Jaillières towards Chamechaude. 300 m higher, take the forest road on the right.

4 - Panorama : the St Eynard, the Ecoutoux, the Vercors. After the small range, turn to the left in the meadows direction Churut.

6 - To note : two beautiful old barns upstream

7 - At Montjalat, take the road opposite towards the hamlet of Churut

8 - Cross the hamlet : old granary of the XVIIth century and chapel of Churut. At the chapel, go up to the right towards Col de Palaquit. Take the first path on the left in the forest.

9 - Viewpoint on the village

10 - At the reservoir (drinking water point), go down on the left. Cross the RD 512. Continue to go down.

11 - La Grange Lainière farm : sale of wool, clothes, honey and apples

12 - Turn left above the RD 512. Cross the RD at the basin, follow the small road that goes down. Turn right for 100 m and go down the second path on the left.

13 - Viewpoint on the Marais des Sagnes (sensitive natural area)

14 - At the calvary of Beauches on the left, go towards the center of the village.
