Just a handful of minutes from the hustle and bustle of Grenoble city center and the surrounding towns, the Bresson golf course parking lot, the starting point for this course, nestles in a veritable island of greenery.

Your walk begins with a short climb along the edge of the golf course, which continues along the edge of the forest. You then embark on a long descent that takes you in stages to the center of Eybens. You'll return to nature on a beautiful cycle path and quiet country lanes, bringing this route to a peaceful close.

From the parking lot, take rue de Montavie between the Bresson golf course and its driving range. The first part of this road is reserved for pedestrians, so you can take it easy.

Continue down Rue du Bois, and don't miss the community baker's oven, surrounded by houses, a hundred meters on your left.

At the town hall, continue along rue de la République, then rue de la Liberté, which naturally leads to avenue de Bresson, which you follow for 1.3km.

Keep left on avenue de Bresson, then turn right on avenue de la République to follow the southern flank of the Eybens church. A little further on, as you look to the left, you'll see the roofs of the Château d'Eybens looming over the pavilions.

Turn left and continue up Rue des Pellets for 100m before crossing it to turn left and climb the 500m cycle path that joins Route Napoléon.

Keep to the right, continuing on Route de Grenoble, which is a little busier than the previous routes.

Take the first rise on the right, rue du center, and at the top, turn left, route de Montavie, then right, chemin de la Léchère.

Take the busy Route de Jarrie with care, and keep to the right.

If you're equipped with an adapted bike, take the path that runs straight ahead on your right. If not, continue along the Route de Jarrie for another 200m and turn right at the next junction.

Slowly return to the golf parking lot, keeping to the right on this last, relatively narrow stretch.
