Your starting point, in the heart of the shopping area, has plenty of parking and is easily accessible by public transport, notably bus lines 22, 51 and 54.

The first part of your itinerary takes you gradually upwards, mostly on cycle lanes or small, lightly-travelled roads. Once you've passed the Hôtel des Terrasses, the route offers a beautiful descent along the Néron. The return journey is on the greenway along the banks of the Isère. Despite a few major roads and a little elevation gain, this loop doesn't present any major difficulties and is accessible to all.

From the shopping center, cross the parking lot diagonally to rue des Abattoirs. Be careful as you cross the street to reach the cycle path and turn right. A few metres further on, the path bends left to follow Avenue de San Marino (D105F).

At the crossroads, carefully cross the Route de Lyon and the tramway tracks. Join the right-hand side of the road and the cycle lane that runs alongside avenue de Karben after the bus stop. At the next two traffic circles, continue straight ahead, still on avenue de Karben.

At the traffic circle, take the second exit, opposite you, and continue along rue de Rochepleine.

Turn right onto avenue du Médecin Général Viallet.

Turn left onto rue de la Monta (D105). 280m further on, in front of the Hôtel des Terrasses, turn right onto rue de Champy. A few metres further on, opposite the cul-de-sac, turn right onto rue des Brieux, which will become rue du Muret after the sports fields.

At the traffic circle, take the first exit on the right and continue along rue du Muret.

Be careful when crossing the tramway tracks and turn left onto the cycle lane on the D1075, route de Grenoble, which becomes avenue du Général Leclerc.

Continue along the cycle path, which takes you under the N481. Turn right onto the "voie verte des berges" to follow the course of the Isère for over 5km.

Turn right off the voie verte and take the cycle path along the D105F to your starting point.
