Espace 600 is both a theater open to contemporary creation for young people and a theater for discovering young companies. Shows for young and old alike and workshops are scheduled throughout the year.
Espace 600 is a 275-seat theater.
Recently awarded the "scène conventionnée d'intérêt national " label for art, childhood and youth, it offers a program for all ages from 18 months upwards: theater, dance, music, puppetry and circus, and a summer season in the Parc Jean Verlhac.
It welcomes artists from all over France to create and perform shows for children and young people, and to meet audiences on stage and in crèches, schools, secondary schools, socio-educational centers, libraries and other venues.
It offers artistic workshops for extracurricular activities, trips to Avignon and a permanent work camp run by the young people themselves to take part in events in which they perform their own shows.
Wheelchairs for people with reduced mobility are positioned on top, behind the last row of seats, on the circulation area.
