Galerie café / Notre-Dame: a festive square overflowing with restaurants and terraces tempered by the central fountain. La Vina contrasts with its discreet terrace. Organic/fair trade drinks, books, art photography and concerts await you there.
As you cross the threshold, you enter a more intimate atmosphere, a warm space filled with books, photos, paintings and decorations with flavors from Asia and Central America. The owner is François Marie, a man of many trades, including travel guide and reporter.
"La Vina is a gallery dedicated to the art of the world's peoples and to photography. I also organize concerts, conferences and shows here. The place is also a tea room serving fair-trade and/or organic products.
To be here is to share a taste for travel and the values promoted by François Marie: he also campaigns for clean energy and ethical finance. A cup of tea, accompanied by a leaflet from Enercoop or La Nef, a glance at the current photo or painting exhibition, the cultures or books on sale or available: when you leave La Vina, you'll have taken a leap into a strange elsewhere, a peaceful and pleasantly anachronistic interlude.
