Would you like to take an unusual hike, discovering landscapes with your ears as well as your eyes? Come and discover Le Sappey à la jumelle, a sound walk created by choreographer Laurent Pichaud around the village of Le Sappey-en-Chartreuse.

Instructions for use:
1. Go to the Grenoble Tourist Office.
2. Ask for the Le Sappey bandana with binoculars, which you can use as an IGN map.
3. Download the app on your smartphone to access the audio guide: on Google Play (Android) or on the App Store (iOS).
4. Bring your own earphones.

Laurent Pichaud has been an associate artist at CCN2 since 2020, and is deploying ... en jumelle, a field project based on the twin towns scheme, where he questions the place of the Other and Elsewhere in our daily lives. He has designed Le Sappey à la jumelle, a unique choreographic artistic experience, a hike accompanied by sound recordings. The route takes walkers around Le Sappey-en-Chartreuse, as if they could look at it from afar, through binoculars, and offer themselves the possibility of looking even further, beyond the horizon. While they're here and now around Le Sappey-en-Chartreuse, they'll be pairing up with other places, distant or absent, or with invisible elements, or with inner bodily sensations.
