Accessible without a car, by streetcar or bicycle via a beautiful cycle path that runs alongside the Isère river, its main attraction is its space and greenery. It's a very pleasant place for a snack, a picnic or a barbecue (authorized). For sports enthusiasts, there's a superb bicross track and facilities for rollerblading and skateboarding, as well as a fitness trail ideal for jogging. As for the flora, there are hundreds of varieties of plants, shrubs, flowers and trees. In some places, the park retains the heritage of a poplar grove planted over 25 years ago. Tree lovers can also come and say hello to ash, acacia, walnut and willow trees, as well as a few specimen catalpa trees, quince, plum and apple trees.

Less contemplative visitors have also taken up residence on the Ile d'Amour, such as baseball fans who play on a meadow dedicated to their sport, bicross enthusiasts who take to the shale track specially laid out with obstacles and banked bends, and those who take to the skate park to slide their boards and wheels.
