The 71st edition of France's oldest lumberjack competition takes place in 2024.
Objective: chop up as many logs as possible with an axe. Activities linked to woodworking, pastoralism, sheepdogs, craft fair.

The "Passe-Partout" association organizes the oldest wood festival in Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin.
Lumberjack competition: elimination rounds with fallen logs and final with standing trees. Entertainment all weekend: demonstrations are announced throughout the day on site.

SATURDAY
From 2pm:
- Wood and forestry-related events
- Exhibitions of tractors, winches, 4x4s, quads...
- Craft and second-hand fair / regional products
- Flea market
- Pastoralism
- Chainsaw sculpture Passe-Partout
- Passe-Partout competition
- Small amateur lumberjack competition

SUNDAY
From 11am:
- Lumberjack competition (from 2pm)
- Music band
- Exhibition of chamois trophies
- Activities related to woodworking and forestry
- Exhibitions of tractors, winches, 4x4s, quads...
- Pastoral demonstration - cattle show, sheepdog demonstration
- Craft and second-hand fair / regional products
- Braderie
- Chainsaw sculpture Passe partout
- Open-air ball until midnight
- Fireworks display
