With a focus on quality and artistic rigor, over thirty shows are programmed each season: dance, music, circus, object theater, gesture art, young-audience offerings and multi-disciplinary forms. La Rampe - La Ponatière concocts a diversity of genres, aesthetics and formats, with a strong commitment to dance and music. Awareness-raising and artistic education initiatives are an integral part of the project, to encourage and support encounters with the performing arts for all audiences.

La Rampe-La Ponatière, Scène conventionnée d'intérêt national Art et Création - Danse et Musiques is a venue for artistic creation and dissemination. It is supported by the City of Échirolles, the Department of Isère, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region and the French Ministry of Culture and Communication.

La Rampe-La Ponatière has also been awarded the Scène Ressource en Isère label. La Rampe-La Ponatière promotes the emergence and circulation of artistic companies, encourages the creation of new works, opens up culture to as many people as possible and supports artistic teams in residence.
