Course de la Résistance - 140 km cycle touring event

Departing from Vizille, this route takes in the Romanche valley from the very first kilometers. The route then passes the Mémorial de l'Infernet before beginning the first climb: the ascent of Villard-Reculas and the Pas de la Confession. The route then shifts to Huez for the final kilometers of the legendary Alpe d'Huez climb, the site of the Oisans Resistance.

The route then descends to Bourg d'Oisans, then climbs the Col d'Ornon before descending to La Mûre, where refreshments will be served at this historic site of the Resistance.

The route then returns to Vizille via La Motte-d'Aveillans, Monteynard and St-Georges-de-Commiers.
